LAHORE: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Javed Hashmi Thursday said that if judges not restored by May 12, the parliament would not survive even five months. Addressing Lahore Bar Hashmi hoped that the deposed judges will be restored by May 12, if not, he would go to the people. The people had given verdict on February 18, for restoration of judges and 1973 constitution but no progress has yet been made in this respect, he said. If the parliament failed to respect the people’s mandate it would not survive for five months, Hashmi maintained. “A courageous ‘no’ on March 09, 2007, changed the history of the country,” he said. Gilani said the new coalition government believes in policy of national reconciliation aimed at taking the nation forward, and has vowed not to repeat mistakes of the past.
