LAHORE: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Javed Hashmi Thursday said that if judges not restored by May 12, the parliament would not survive even five months.
Addressing Lahore Bar Hashmi hoped that the deposed judges will be restored by May 12, if not, he would go to the people.
The people had given verdict on February 18, for restoration of judges and 1973 constitution but no progress has yet been made in this respect, he said.
If the parliament failed to respect the people’s mandate it would not survive for five months, Hashmi maintained.
“A courageous ‘no’ on March 09, 2007, changed the history of the country,” he said. It is now being felt that the judiciary is also being restored under NRO, he added.
