
BEIRUT: At least three people were killed during fierce clashes between government supporters and members of the Hezbollah-led opposition in Beirut, hospital officials told foreign media.
An official at local hospital reported one dead and four wounded.
Eight people were also reported injured in fighting in the east and the north of the country, while around 10 were wounded on Wednesday.
The casualties came amid sectarian clashes between government supporters and members of the Hezbollah-led opposition.
