ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ambassador Tariq Azizuddin’s brother Imran Azizuddin said that his brother’s release was the result of Pakistan government efforts, for which, he was thankful to the government. Following the recovery of Tariq Azizuddin, his brother Imran Azizuddin, talking to Geo News said that he was grateful to the government of Pakistan, whose efforts finally materialized into the release of Tariq Aiz. He said that he was worried about his brother’s health, as he (Tariq) remained in the custody of abductors for 70 days. Expressing his gratitude to the channels which gave due importance to this issue, Imran said there has been no contact with Tariq Azizuddin thus far. Tariq’s sister, Erum said she was very happy and thankful to the Govt. of Pakistan, but she was very much worried about her brother’s health.
