PESHAWAR: Operation in Khyber Agency entered into seventh consecutive day whereas curfew has been relaxed in Bara on Friday.

Sources said that Bara market has been closed for Friday. Meanwhile, a ceasefire has been announced in Bara on the request of local jirga.

Local jirga has met with political administration and requested to hold talks with Lashkar-i-Islam’s chief Mangal Bagh. Jirga has reached Teerah to negotiate with Mangal Bagh.

At least 220 people have been arrested so far during operation in Peshawar and neighborhood and large cache of weapons have also been recovered.
