KARACHI: Pakistan in their last Super-4 match, dismissed Bangladesh for a mere 115 runs, the lowest score in the Asia Cup 2008, here at the National Stadium on Friday.
Winning the toss Bangladesh batted first but their batsmen could not resist against the accurate bowling from Pakistan seamers and spinners and the whole team was bundled out for 115 runs in 38.2 overs.
Abdul Rauf claimed three wickets for 24 runs while Iftikhar Anjum and off-spinner Saeed Ajmal grabbed two wickets each and Shoaib Malik and Sohail Tanvir took one wicket each.
Opener Tamim Iqbal was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 26 runs while four other batsmen also succeeded in entering into double figures.
