KARACHI: Sindh Chief Secretary Fazalur Rehman has said that all federal and provincial departments would have to devise a joint strategy to bring an end to the menace of narcotics menace.n n"Coordinated steps are needed to be implemented to combat narcotics consumption," he said while presiding over a meeting with Provincial Narcotics Introduction Committee at his office Thursday. n nThe Chief Secretary said that the government would also extend cooperation with NGOs working in this regard. He said that a coordination committee would also be constituted against narcotics, which would comprise representatives of Anti-Narcotics Force, Maritime Security Agency, Intelligence and Investigation (Customs) Karachi, Airport Security Force, National Highway Authority, Motorway Police, Pakistan Coast Guards, Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), Sindh Police, Provincial Departments of Excise & Taxation, Health, Criminal Prosecution, Finance and Social Welfare.
