LAHORE: Director General, Lahore Development Authority, Irfan Ali has directed WASA officials to ensure that in case of rain, water is immediately drained out from different areas and citizens do not face any problem. While listening to complaints of residents of WASA Service Area regarding water supply and drainage, he said, in case of rain, all staff of the agency should become active for draining out rainwater from different areas.nnHe directed that all field directors should work with complete coordination and have close contact with one another so that machinery is installed immediately in different areas for draining out rainwater.nnHe also directed that the concerned staff of WASA be provided uniforms without any delay. He said Engineering wing of WASA has got prepared 2,500 RCC lids/covers for manholes out of which 1100 have been provided to field staff.
