
HANGU: Eight hostages have been released by the Hangu Taliban as a good will gesture to the jirga headed by Mufti Syed Janan who is negotiating peace between the government and the militants.nnA senior divisional officer Khan Mir Shah and two other employees from the Peshawar Electricity Supply Company are among those who have been released by the Taliban. The others include a police constable and two bank officials. nnThe hostages are now on their way to Hangu to be reunited with their families.nnThese eight hostages were held along with the many other hostages Taliban militants captured two weeks ago. nnMufti Syed Janan told Geo News that a 30-member peace jirga has reached Hangu after holding talks with local Taliban.nnMeanwhile, curfew has been relaxed from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in Hangu, however Doaba remained clamped under curfew.n
