ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office has no clue about the recent contacts between PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and US ambassador to the United Nations Zalmay Khalilzad as reported in The New York Times (NYT) on Tuesday. "No, we are not aware of any such contact," was the categorical response of Foreign Office Spokesman Mohammad Sadiq when The News asked him about it. When asked if the US State Department had at any stage in the recent past raised questions about such a contact with the government at the official level, his response was: "Not at all."
