ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information, Sherry Rahman said that we have sufficient vote number and the majority exists for the presidential election.

Talking to the newsmen outside the Parliament House, she said, “We are confident of victory in the presidential election and Asif Zardari would be the President on September 6. She said that we have the representation in all the four provinces and Asif Zardari was the emblem of Federation, therefore, we have the right over the President slot.

Responding to a question, Sherry Rahman said that Asif Zardari is not suffering from any mental disorder and added that anti-democratic forces were busy in churning out propaganda against us. To another question, she said that we have developed a working relationship with Nawaz League and both the parties stand firm for the Charter of Democracy (CoD). She said that we would further take ahead the reconciliatory process after presidential election. She said that the strengthening of the democratic forces and the democratic organizations were imperative.
