PESHAWAR: The death toll in the suicide bombing at a place Zangli on Kohat Road here has increased to 35.
Five more bodies were recovered from beneath the building devastated in the wake of the blast at Zangli check post, which has shot up the death toll to 35, while the relief activities continued for the whole night at Zangli check post. Police sources said that over 80 wounded were under treatment in the hospital. However, the local people have expressed their resentments on the NWFP government’s slow-pace of relief works. They complained that all those buried in the debris still could not be retrieved, while the locals were engaged in relief activities on self-help basis.
