
MIANWALI: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, distributed cheques amounting to Rs300,000 among the families whose children were killed when a bus carrying them plunged into a canal here in Bachran area of Mianwali.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families in Dera Buksh Gnajeeranwala.
He also announced free education for those who survived in the accident.
“The bridge (where the accident occurred) and all other bridges over Muhajir Nehar will be renovated immediately, a girls high school will be built while the boys school will be upgraded,” the Chief Minister announced.
Moreover, he announced the construction of two way road from Harnoli Road to Musa Khel.
He said he will soon undertake a detailed visit of Mianwali.
