HYDERABAD: Police here on Sunday recovered the body of a man from his house. Qalandar Bux, 55, was living in his rented house in Tando Mir Mohammed in Unit 9, Latifabad.

The first wife of Qalandar Bux, Sassui who lives in Larkana, had lodged a complaint with the police, sources said. Police raided the house and found the body of her husband wrapped in a steel box.

The post mortem report would be released on Monday (today). Meanwhile, villagers of village Sabz Ali Kerrio besieged the A section police station and blocked the Airport Road on Sunday over the arrest of a villager Fayaz Memon. The protesting villagers chanted slogans against the builder mafia on whose behest the arrest was made and demanded immediate release of the arrested person.
