
ISLAMABAD: Tariq Khosa, chairman of a commission constituted to probe into burying alive five women in the name of honour in Balochistan, has said that he cannot investigate the case and can only monitor it due to legal complications.
Talking to BBC, Tariq Khosa said that due to massive protest in the Senate on this incident, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik had announced to constitute this commission and send it to Balochistan. Khosa also confirmed he was not leaving for Balochistan in connection with investigation.“I will monitor the case from Islamabad. Balochistan Police have been directed to inform day-to-day progress in this regard,” he said.
