PESHAWAR: A tribal jirga has announced to form a national lashkar comprising 300 volunteers against militants in Khyber Agency today.

According to sources, Shinwari Jirga formed an armed national lashkar to flush militants out of the Khyber Agency. The lashkar will launch its operation against militants from Tuesday.

Earlier, a jirga was held today which made it compulsory for all of its 30 members to include 10 volunteers in the national lashkar.
