
SWAT: The number of people affected by gastroenteritis has reached 2200 here on Monday.
As the number of gastro cases rise in Kashmore, emergency has been declared at all government hospitals. More than 100 people, most of them children and women, were brought to Mingora and Saidu Sharif hospitals in the valley.
Meanwhile, as a result of power suspension in the district, there has been shortage of water supply.
At the same time, number of people affected by the disease also increased to 300 in Kashmore. DCO Kashmore Syed Abid Hussain told Geo News that emergency has been declared in all the government hospitals.
In Bahawalpur’s Victoria Hospital, 60 patients suffering from gastro were discharged after receiving treatment.
