RAWALPINDI: Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmed has called upon the government to halt the ongoing military operation in tribal areas.

Addressing the party workers after reaching Rawalpindi here on Tuesday, Qazi Hussain Ahmed said working class could get its basic right only through unity.

The JI chief said that people were shedding blood of one another in Kurrum agency that would not augur well for the country.
