KARACHI: The national currency gained strength against the dollar during trading in the interbank on Saturday.

According to forex market dealers, the rupee value rose by paisas 10 during trading and US currency was being traded at Rs79.10. The dollar was closed at Rs79.20 on Friday.

On the other hand, the dollar is being traded at Rs79.80 in the open market. Analysts said that the rupee gained strength after increase in country’s foreign exchange reserves.
