ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari Saturday vowed to foil the evil designs of the terrorists who, according to them, are trying to destabilize the country.

The President and Prime Minister had a meeting here in which matters including law and order situation, operation in tribal areas, President’s scheduled visit to China and economic challenges being faced by the country came under detailed discussion.

They reiterated their pledge that no one would be allowed to challenge the writ of the government.

“The government will not be black mailed by the terrorists and the scourge of terrorism will be uprooted,” the President and PM stressed.

They said emergency steps would be undertaken to overcome the prevailing economic crisis in the country.

President Zardari hoped that his upcoming visit to China will help promote trade cooperation between the two countries.
