BEIJING: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khan has said that China has been very closely observing the process of negotiations on Iran, Pakistan, India (IPI) gas pipeline project.

Referring to a report appeared in the Pakistani media, the Ambassador while talking to APP here on Sunday said that “it is a good project and Pakistan is committed to it.”

“China has been observing the negotiating process of IPI very closely,” he noted.

He said that Pakistan always welcomes China’s association, adding that a general exchange on this subject can be possible at the level of concerned ministries of the two countries during next week state visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to China.
