
BANGALORE: Australia were 193-5 in their second innings at stumps on the fourth day of the first cricket Test against India here on Sunday, an overall lead of 263 runs.
Earlier, India made 360 in reply to Australia's first innings score of 430.
Australia scored 193 runs for five wickets at the close of fourth day. None of the Australian batsmen managed to convert the start into long innings. Simon Katich top scored 34 runs.
Brad Hadin and Shane Watson batted till the end of fourth day and set up a 65-run partnership. Eshant Sharma and Zaheer Khan got two wickets each while Zaheer Khan took one wicket.
