
ISLAMABAD: A peace jirga of tribal elders representing the rival groups agreed on Monday to hold a temporary ceasefire in Kurram Agency.
According to the agreement signed by two sides in Islamabad, the warring tribes will start to leave their base camps from the troubled area from today. Under the agreement, the violator of the agreement will have to pay Rs20 million in fine.
The sources told that tribal elders gave complete authority to political administration of killing the persons who refused or disobeyed to leave their bases.
